Marriott's events page puts the resort 25 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport (BLR); it sits on the Prestige Golfshire estate on the Nandi Hills road, and the city is about an hour. Guests flying in go straight from the terminal to their rooms without crossing Bangalore, which is why families abroad shortlist it.

No. The WedMeGood listing records in-house catering only (checked 26 September 2026), so the menu, the plate rate and the minimum all come from the resort's banquet team. Ask for the menu tiers and taxes in writing before you compare Golfshire with an estate that lets you appoint your own caterer.

The WedMeGood listing records no in-house alcohol and outside alcohol permitted (checked 26 September 2026). That is unusual for a Marriott resort, so treat it as unconfirmed and get the bar arrangement, the licence and any corkage fee in writing. Catering is in-house only.

10 pm on the Savannah Lawns, under Bengaluru's rule on outdoor amplified sound. Durbar is indoors and runs later under the resort's rules, which is why late sangeets move there. The listing says the resort's own DJ is used and outside DJs are not permitted.

October to March for the Savannah Lawns: dry evenings below Nandi Hills. From June to September plan the lawn functions with Durbar as the written rain plan; Durbar seats 1,100 at rounds, so even a large guest list fits indoors.

Only the resort can confirm a date, and we check it with JW Marriott Golfshire for you. Ask the resort how far ahead its muhurtham weekends and December dates are already held; October to March is the season for the lawns. Durbar is indoors, so a monsoon date works if the lawn is not essential to your plan.

All three sit on the airport side of the city. Golfshire is the scale choice: Durbar for 1,100 at rounds, the Savannah Lawns for 2,000, 301 rooms, 25 minutes from the airport (Marriott; WedMeGood).
