Quick Answer · Venues with rooms
The sixteen wedding venues tabled below house guests on site, from 38 rooms at The Vanya to 363 at Taj Bangalore; city hotels carry more still. Size the block against the households actually travelling, not the invitation list, and contract the rooms in the same letter as the function space.
A venue with rooms changes the shape of a wedding. Guests stop driving across Bangalore between the mehendi and the muhurtham, elders are ten minutes from a bed, and the two families finally share a breakfast table instead of a WhatsApp group. It also introduces a second negotiation, because rooms and function space are sold by different desks and confirmed on different dates.
Which venues near Bangalore have rooms on site?
Sixteen resorts and hotels we shortlist most often combine a wedding lawn or banquet with rooms you can block, from 38 at The Vanya to 363 at Taj Bangalore. They cluster on the northern airport corridor — Devanahalli, Yelahanka, Doddaballapura — with a second group in the Coorg belt for a drive-out weekend.
Our wider venue database carries many more Bangalore properties with rooms on site, including city hotels that run past 363; the sixteen below are the ones that pair a workable wedding space with a block you can realistically hold. The table is drawn from our venue records. Room counts are the property's own; the catering column reproduces the rate each venue lists, which is not a quote. Taxes are extra everywhere, rates move by date and season, and the only number that binds anyone is the one on a written venue proposal for your dates.

Which ones are all-inclusive — rooms, meals and venue in one line?
Two on this list quote a single daily figure that already contains rooms, meals and the venue. Signature Club Resort at Brigade Orchards lists ₹17 lakh a day for 60 rooms (about US$17,900 or £13,300 at August 2026 rates), and The Vanya at Yelahanka lists ₹10 lakh a day for 20 rooms on the same basis.
A single line is easier to compare than four, but read what it excludes. Neither figure carries decor, lighting, sound, entertainment, photography or taxes, and both fix the number of rooms — the twenty-first room at The Vanya and the sixty-first at Signature Club are priced separately. Where a venue quotes plate rates instead, as most do, you are looking at three separate meters running at once: rooms per night, food per plate and the space per function. We convert both shapes into the same comparison sheet before anyone signs, because a resort that looks expensive per plate can be the cheaper weekend once forty rooms are in the same column.
How do we plan a two-day wedding around a room block?
Work backwards from the last function, not the first. Guests need a bed the night before the earliest ceremony and the night of the reception, which for a standard two-day Bangalore wedding means a three-night block for the families and a two-night block for everyone else. The room count follows that grid, not the guest list.
In practice we build the block in three tiers. The core tier is the two immediate families and anyone with a ritual role, held for the full run of nights and never released. The travelling tier is households arriving from outside Karnataka or from abroad, held at two adults per room with singles flagged for elders. The flex tier is the tail — colleagues, late confirmations, the cousin who decides on the Thursday — held against the venue's release date and cut without penalty if it goes unused. Our wedding guest rooms calculator turns a guest count and a number of nights into a room-night figure you can put in front of a venue; the tiering is what stops that figure from being an expensive guess.
The other half of the plan is the timetable. A venue with rooms lets you run a mehendi at four in the afternoon and a sangeet at eight without a coach movement in between, which is the single biggest reason a two-day schedule stays on time. It also means the decor team can build overnight in a space nobody has to vacate. More on the sequencing in our guide to a multi-day wedding in Bangalore.
What does a room-night actually cost?
Where a venue publishes an all-in daily figure you can divide it out. Signature Club Resort's ₹17 lakh across 60 rooms is roughly ₹28,000 per room per day; The Vanya's ₹10 lakh across 20 rooms is ₹50,000 on the same basis. Neither is a room rate: both are a wedding-day buyout expressed per room.
That distinction matters when you compare. A hotel quoting a wedding-season room rate is selling you a bed and breakfast; a resort quoting a buyout is selling you the whole property for the day, which is why the per-room number looks high and the total often does not. The honest comparison is total spend for the same weekend: rooms multiplied by nights, plus plates multiplied by guests multiplied by functions, plus the space charge for each function. Run that arithmetic on three shortlisted venues and the ranking usually changes at least once. Our page on what a Bangalore wedding venue costs sets out how venues structure those charges, and how much a Bangalore wedding costs in 2026 puts the venue line next to everything else.
Which venues with rooms suit a small guest list?
For 50 to 150 guests the useful properties are the ones whose smallest space is small. Mulberry Shades at the foot of Nandi Hills lists a seated range of 50 to 350 against 102 rooms; Evolve Back Coorg lists 20 to 300 against 82 rooms. Both let an intimate wedding fill the property rather than rattle around a 3,000-seat lawn.
The trap with a small wedding at a large venue is not cost, it is atmosphere. A hundred guests in a hall built for a thousand reads as a poorly attended event no matter how good the decor, and there is a limit to how much of a space you can honestly dress away. We would rather take a smaller property where the room block covers most of the guest list, because then the wedding has the run of the place and the pre-dinner drinks happen where people are already standing. Destination weddings near Bangalore covers the drive-out options in more detail, and for larger counts see Bangalore wedding venues for 300 guests.
How do we handle guests who cannot be housed on site?
Name one overflow hotel, not three. Pick the nearest property with a comparable standard, block it at the same time as the main venue, and publish a single shuttle timetable between the two. Guests tolerate a ten-minute drive; what they do not tolerate is finding out on arrival that they are the ones who were moved.
Allocation is a family decision, not a planner's, and it is better made early and in writing than late and over the phone. We ask for the on-site list to be settled at the same time as the invitations: ritual participants and elders on site, the rest at the overflow property with transport confirmed both ways for every function. The airport corridor makes this straightforward — Devanahalli has several hotels within a short drive of each other, so an overflow block rarely means a long journey. Publish the allocation in the same message as the schedule, and the question stops being asked.
